Eco Committee

We are the eco-reps of St. Andrews School:

Rebecca, James, Jasmine, Oliver, Hannah, Edward, Molly, Tamara

We are trying to make our school more eco-friendly. So far we have done a survey of the school and got together an action plan. We are recycling hand towels, recycling more paper, growing garlic, buying recycled products, and have put plants in every classroom. We have done 3 assemblies to get the whole school involved.
At the moment we are running a competition to design recycling boxes (high grade, low grade).They can be anything from a monster to an object; an animal to a person e.g. A pop star, a football player.
Before this we ran a competition for an eco-code and this is what we came up with:
    Care and respect our school
    All litter needs to go in the bin
    Recycle fully-used paper
    Include your fruit waste in the compost
    Never leave taps running
   Get walking, cycling, scooting to school
Because we have done all of this we have got our eco schools bronze award!!!
